Does your child act?
Does your child sing, rap, or dance?
Does your child play an instrument?
Does your child recite spoken word?
Does your child want to learn how a production comes together or how to direct a play?
LEGACY’s Arts/Theater Youth Program is a production course designed to equip students, ages 11 -18, with the skills necessary to put on a full production. LEGACY students will complete modules in subjects such as drama, comedy, set design, costume design, community service, civic engagement, and lifestyle choices. LEGACY’s Arts/Theater Youth Program will give students a unique opportunity to obtain advice and assistance from LEGACY staff and volunteers as well as guest speakers and presenters who are highly respected in the arts. The students will have an end of summer performance.
You do not have to be an actor/actress, dance, or play an instrument to be a part of our program. We ask for you to come out and learn a new craft. Today’s real life situations will be captured and played out on stage.
If you have talent, come out. If you don’t think you have any talent, come out. This program will entertain and educate. We want to take the play to at least one other city and that will be determined based on the students discipline and seriousness to put on a professional show.Â
If a youth desires to have a role in LEGACY’s play, please email arts@ourlegacyfoundation.org to arrange an audition.
